Tanzania have emerged the winner in the finals of the Copa
Africa Cup 2019 Under-16 Championships held at the Mpesa Foundation Academy
grounds in Thika, Nairobi.
This comes after the young Taifa stars beat Zimbabwe 6-2 in
the finals played on Thursday.
The Golden boot winner Paul Nyerere netted a hat-trick,
igniting the junior Kilimanjaro Stars half time 5-1 lead.
Zimbabwe missed a penalty immediately after the interval and
were punished on the other end as Boniface Rafael drilled home Tanzania’s sixth
goal.
