Cape Media, the company that owns TV47 and Radio 47, has appointed former Royal Media Services’ presenter Willis Raburu as the director for digital services and innovations.
Raburu will be responsible for driving the continuous evolution of TV47, Radio 47, and 47 digital products.
An elated Raburu through social media said,
“Thrilled to lead the charge as Director for Digital Servics and Innovations at Cape Media! Excited to elevate the digital dialogue, empower the youth, and drive transformative change.”
The renowned journalist added that,
“Digital is the heartbeat of progress and I’m ready to take on the challenge.”
Raburu is among the list of popular journalists in Kenya, having worked at Royal Media Services for years as a news presenter at Citizen TV and a host of the 10 Over 10 entertainment show.
He is also popular for trying out music, releasing a popular song by the name Kalale, featuring various artists.
Raburu left Royal Media Services in June 2023 after working at the company for over a decade.
He later, in August this year, joined TV 47 as a host of a show called ‘Wabebe Xperience’ aired every Friday.
