The Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) has extended bus shuttle services to travellers from Africa and non-residents for the duration of the festive season starting December 20, 2025.

The shuttle service covers three national parks in the country: Nairobi National Park, Aberdare National Park, and Lake Nakuru National Park.
It will operate on weekends and public holidays only, throughout the festive season.
In a statement, KWS explained that the move will ensure more visitors enjoy the scenic wildlife destinations in the three parks no matter where they are from.
“Following the overwhelming response to the return of the KWS Bus Shuttle, we’ve updated the service to include African Resident and Non-Resident rates, encompassing both domestic and international travellers – so everyone can Jiachilie (enjoy themselves) in Kenyan parks this festive season,” it stated.
Additionally, KWS expressed that the bus shuttle service is affordable, convenient and perfect for those seeking adventures for families and groups.
On December 16, 2025, KWS reintroduced the bus shuttle services on weekends and public holidays only through the festive season as part of the ‘Jiachilie in Kenya Parks’ holiday campaign, targeting Kenyans.
