Former government spokesman Eric Kiraithe has landed another lucrative job in government as the new ICT Principal Administrative Secretary.

This comes a few days after Kiraithe handed over the reigns to the current spokesperson retired colonel Cyrus Oguna, who was appointed to fill the position on May 7, 2019.

Kiraithe has previously served as the spokesman of the Kenya Police and the Chief of Security at Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) before he became the government spokesman at State House and is now at the Ministry of ICT.

In April 2019, the government appointed former Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet as the Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism.

Early this month, President Uhuru Kenyatta made massive appointments for parastatals, which included former members of parliament.
