Inside the Mchakato Wa Usomi Program
Earlier, the senator donated learning materials to learners at Riagumo Secondary School.
“However small it looks, in the hands of a determined student, a pen becomes the most powerful tool for transformation since it is key in every step of learning,” said the senator.
Senator Okenyuri, who has publicly demonstrated her passion for education, observed that together with books, these simple learning tools open worlds of knowledge, nurture curiosity and strengthen the foundation of academic growth.
“Education remains the most reliable equaliser, and both tools in a student’s hand are a step closer to unlocking potential, shaping ambition and building a progressive generation,” added Senator Okenyuri, the Vice Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Trade, Industrialisation and Tourism.
