Premier Bank and Zakat Kenya organize a walk to fundraise for the needy

Premier Bank Kenya in partnership with Zakat Kenya is organizing a fun walk on 25th February 2024 starting from Adams arcade to Sir Ali Muslim Club as they target to raise at least sh30 million to support needy families during the month of Ramadan.

Through the initiative, they target to empower at least 5000 families drawn from various institutions and the entire Muslim society across the nation.

“We have been exploring ways we can support, empower and improve lives of the needy muslims in our society during the time of Ramadan and we believe that the fun walk shall enable us raise substantial amount towards the cause,” Premier bank Kenya CEO Osman Dualle said in a press conference.

Zakat Kenya who have been in the programme for the last seven years says the data they have been collecting will enable them to distribute the food fairly to the vulnerable groups across the country for them to enjoy a meal when they break the fast.
