Vehicle
and Equipment Leasing Limited (VAELL) was recognised with an award in
Automotive Leasing Category by the prestigious Automotive Industry Excellence
Awards.

In
an event organised by Digital Events Limited held at Movenpick Hotel, a lot of
industry and corporate leaders in various categories who have built reputable
brands in the market were also recognised.

The
winners were competitively chosen through a thorough process which partly
involved a public vote and a panel of judges.

According to NTSA reports, over the last
decade, the automotive industry in Kenya has been on an exponential rise, the
Automotive Industry Excellence Awards are meant to recognize and celebrate the
key players in various realms of the sector who have over the years achieved
outstanding results in their niche, have positively impacted the lives of their
clients and have played a significant role in catalyzing the industry growth.

“We were recognized because we understand
fluctuating business environment and we have come up with various products to
suit different clients,” VAELL Kenya’s managing director Bertha Mvati said.

The recognition in the awards by the
regional market leader was a great effort to recognize the efforts that they
have put in place towards service delivery in the leasing industry. It will, further
greatly enhance their goodwill when relating with the current and potential
clients.

It comes months after the lessor was
admitted by the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in their premium accelerator
program dubbed IBUKA. After successful incubation, VAELL will list fully with
the local market bourse to trade their shares in the public.

The Naivasha- headquartered lessor has
established themselves as the premiere leasing firm with wide presence in Kenya
and branches in Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia. According to their website, the
company is further planning to exploit other countries by setting foot in
Ethiopia and Zambia.
