Controversial Gospel singer, Size 8, has penned a long message of gratitude to fans as she celebrates her birthday.
Taking to her official Facebook page on August 4, Size 8 gave a reflection on her journey of pain, turmoil and challenges of life.
” Last year on my birthday, my world was in chaos, my heart was in pain and turmoil, my family was broken, my marriage was no more…..I did not know that God would turn my life around within a year, and I would be singing celebration songs….Today, as I celebrate my birthday… MY HEART IS OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE TO MY GOD, MY FATHER THROUGH JESUS CHRIST! As I look back to the year that was, I see his mercy, his grace, his love, his power all in my life…..,” she expressed on her Facebook account.
Size 8 further shared a message of hope to her fans, urging them to hold on to God, no matter the situation or challenges life presents.
She further urged those crying over their marriages to hold on tighter to God, stating that He is the Lord Sabaoth.
The popular singer also expressed her love for her husband, DJ Moh and her kids.
“To my munyalis, I love you guys,” she further stated.
The artist couldn’t forget to thank her church, Harvesters Global church, for standing by her through all seasons of her life.
Last year, the singer similarly wrote a long message expressing gratitude for life and good health. This came a week after the announcement of her separation from her husband, DJ Mo.
“Today I celebrate my birthday; God is faithful… For many, having life is not a blessing, but for me, I cherish every second of life and good health. Death has been trying to take me, but God has granted me life. I have overcome illness and death, so I am forever grateful for life because it is a blessing,” she said.
The mother of two had hinted that the journey ahead may seem challenging and difficult, but she expressed her faith that God’s hand will guide her.
“Father God, I bless your holy name; thank you for this brand new year… My life is changing, and I know even though this new journey seems difficult, your hand leads the way… my faith is in you…
“It is a good morning, a new beginning, praise be to God, the Almighty, in the name of Jesus Christ, who has preserved my life and given my children the gift of a mother. Glory to God, I am very grateful… Hallelujah…” she added.
