Sautisol’s Bien is set to tour Europe starting March 7 to March 22 performing songs from his album Alusa Why Are You Topless.

Bien will be performing live in various cities in the region including Paris, France; Rotterdam, Netherlands; Brussels, Belgium; London, UK; Copenhagen, Denmark; Stockholm, Sweden; Berlin and Cologne, Germany; and Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Alusa why are you topless album includes songs like Too Easy, Lifestyle, A Student, and I Want You.

The talented singer has been doing well in his solo career releasing hit after hit. He has also collaborated with various artists like Nviiri the Storyteller with the song Niko Sawa, Aaron Rimbui with Bald Men Anthem, and Darasa from Tanzania with the song No Body.

His Alusa Why Are You Topless album has done well with his fans appreciating his musical talent.

Sautisol is a boy band from Kenya that has been doing well ever since its inception in the late 2000s with classics like Laazizi and Soma Kijana to modern hits like Kuliko Jana, Melanin, Sura Yako, Short and Sweet, and Suzanna in later years.

SautiSol band members part ways

In March 2023, the band announced it would take an indefinite hiatus and each member would pursue solo endeavours.

However, Bien-Aime Baraza has been the most visible and successful of the group whose other members are Savara Mudigi, Polycarp Otieno, and Willis Chimano.

The group had their final SolFest concert in November 2023, which was sold out. Regular tickets went for Ksh 3,500 and Ksh 20,000 VIP.

Progress in the African music industry

Bien is on the right track with his Europe tour. He has also had a private listening party for his Alusa Why Are You Topless album which stars in the creative industry attended including Nameless, Nyashinski, Eric Omondi, Wahu, and his Sautisol bandmates.

Considering the achievements of Nigerian Afrobeat artists like Burna Boy who fills up arenas in the US and other global music locations, artists from other countries in Africa (like Bien) could push African music to greater heights.

The success of Afrobeat around the globe has seen the Grammy Award create a new category called Best African Music Performance, which Tyla from South Africa won with her song Water.

The category had other notable African musicians like Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Asake ft Olamide, all from Nigeria.
