Life after baby: why some women do not look attractive

Being a mother is noble but motherhood comes with its share of challenges. However, with the right attitude and support from friends and family, it is possible to enjoy being a mother even if it is the first time.

Now there are mothers who find it hard to look attractive after birth. Before talking bad about them, it is important to know they do not look as good as they did before having children. Here are some of the reasons.

Poor nutrition

After giving birth, three meals per day are not enough. A breastfeeding mother needs two extra meals to be able to produce enough milk for the child and remain strong. These meals need to be balanced, with vegetables, fruits, and water. When a mother does eat well, she is likely to lose weight and feels weak

Chores increase

When a new baby arrives, chores increase. A mother needs to take care of her little one and still do other chores around the house. Time becomes limited. She has to feed, cloth, and attend to her baby whenever it is necessary.

At the ends of the day, she is too tired to function and even care for herself to look beautiful. For those who can afford nannies after three months, life is a bit easier.

There are women who work while caring for their children, for example, a woman with a kibanda or one who works online from her coach. The child can be a distraction.

Failure to find balance

When raising a child becomes overwhelming with all the crying, pooping, colic, and sleepless nights, it is easy for a woman to give up on caring about her body. Life puts so much pressure on her that she no longer cares about how she looks. There is a lot to do within 12hours before the night sets in.

Before saying insulting things about a woman’s body after birth, it is important to understand what might be happening in her life. Perhaps it is poor nutrition, chores, or lack of balance.

However, it does not mean that a woman should look unattractive just because she has a baby. Take a shower, eat balanced meals if you can afford them, find balance, do not give in to pressure, and think positive about life.

No matter how busy your life has become, it is possible to look beautiful even after having a baby
