Babies are fantastic beings. They are not aware of the vices in the world. All they do is eat, laugh, smile, cry a little, sleep, and play. In as much as raising a child has its share of challenges, watching your baby grow is an experience of a lifetime. There are things he will do that will melt your heart. Continue reading to find out. We will be using the pronoun he to refer to both baby boys and girls.

Every milestone counts

Growth is gradual. A newborn goes through different stages. When he is born, sleeping, breastfeeding and perhaps crying are some of the things he can do. This changes with time. Soon, he will make eye contact, begin to see people and objects clearly, next it will be smiling, laughing, and before you know it he starts mimicking sounds. By the time your little one walks, there is a lot he will have done to make you happy. For example, he could respond with a sound when you call him by his name. Everything he does is beautiful even messing you house. It shows he is curious enough to familiarize with his surrounding.

Watch him begin to do things on his own

When caring for a baby, there is a time when he depends on you to do everything for him including feeding him which is understandable; he is a baby. However, that changes when his coordination skills improve. For instance, he learns to hold a cup or pick food from a plate and eat. This frees your hand to focus on something else; therefore, saving you time especially if you are busy.

Get to appreciate the job you parents or caregiver did

Everyone gets angry at their parents due to different reasons. Some people even blame them for their parenting methods. Until you get a child of you own, you may not understand how difficult it can be raising a child. Imagine he is crying and you have a load of clothes to wash, you need to clean the dishes, your house looks disorganized, and you still have to check emails or work from home. It can be overwhelming but with the right attitude and perseverance, things get better as your child grows . This is the time you will realize how hard your parents might have worked to raise you.

Raising a child is not easy. Nonetheless, every milestone your baby achieve mesmerizes your whole being. Even when it becomes frustrating with all the loud cries and messes, always remember that soon he will be on his feet and able to so many things on his own.
