According to the former deputy president, the country is headed to a general election and the incoming government will reposes such parcels of land.

“We are headed to a general election in 2027 and there will be a new government. These parcels of land will be forcefully taken away by the new regime and we shall hand it back to the rightful owners and if you have bought those houses you will lose it,” explained Gachagua.

He claimed that the new government will form a team of individuals who will be charged with collecting the rent.

“For instance, PCEA has a title deed to its parcels of land and there is no dispute about it,” he stated.

“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ…”
