England Football Association (FA) Cup is set to restart on
June 27, a week after the return of the Premier League.

The quarter finals will be played on the 27-28 June, Semi-finals
on 11-12 July while the finals scheduled for August 1, 2020.

Thursday meeting resolved that the Premier League will
resume on June 17, with all 92 matches being televised.

FA chief executive Mark Bullingham said on Friday the
Emirates FA Cup is an integral part of the English football calendar and should
not be left out.

“We are pleased to agree the provisional restart date
for the 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup.

“The competition has been an integral part of the
English football calendar for nearly 150 years, and we’d like to thank the
Premier League Executive and Clubs for their support in scheduling the
remaining matches during this unprecedented time,” said Bullingham.

He added that, “This has been a difficult period for
many people and while this is a positive step, the restart date is dependent on
all safety measures being met. The health and wellbeing of players, staff and
supporters remains our priority.”

FA Cup quarter finals draws will see Leicester City host
Chelsea, Newcastle United play Manchester City, Sheffield United take on
Arsenal as Norwich City test Manchester United.

The match venues and time has not been set.

Emirates FA quarter-finals draw was made in March, before
the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic that has seen all sporting activities
across the world put to a halt for at least 3 months.
