Celebrated artist Esther Akoth alias Akothee, has paid tribute to ODM leader Raila Odinga’s wife, Ida Odinga.
Taking to her official facebook page on August 24, 2025, Akothee Showed Ida Odinga with alot of praise as she celebrated her birthday party describing her as a mother, a mentor and a trailblazer.
“A mother, a mentor, a trailblazer. The heartbeat of leadership, the voice of wisdom and the pillar of strength behind generations,” Akothee stated.
She further described Mama Odinga as a legacy and a shining light of resilience.
“You are more than a name, You are a legacy, A shining light of resilience,grace and purpose,” Akothee added in the post.
Singer Akothee also thanked Ida for her guidance in the nation and wished her along life.
However, this is not the first time the singer has showed her friend with praises.
On Ida’s 71st birthday, the singer bought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers praising her in a long post and describing her as Min Piny (Mother of the World).
“My do or die sweet mommy. Pretty , loving ,wise ,intelligent & motherly ,should meet Her at her comfort Zone such a loving mother, full of life, humour and wisdom,” she wrote then.
