The D-day of Valentine’s is here and many couples are eager to get that surprise that only comes once during the 365 days of the year.

I am sorry to say this, but a number of Valentine’s gifts and messages in Kenya usually go to the benefit of ladies in the house.

Men struggle throughout the day to see that she gets that flower, that dress, that car, or house among many more gifts on the love-spoiled day. But, a few of the men usually get spoiled during Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day among couples is a special love-reigniting moment that needs to be spearheaded from both ends. As men toil to see their women happy during this day, women should also do the same to bring back their
relationship at the start point.

What women should do for their men on Valentine’s Day

Women can also spoil their men during this special moment by doing simple and affordable things that can make them feel loved.

1. Send a gift

Just like women love to be sent gifts, men love them too. Get to know something that he loves, buy it and send it to his office during the special day. It can be a football jersey, or a favourite food, among others.

2. Join him in doing what he likes

Men are fond of activities like watching football, playing golf, and pool table playing among other activities. During this day, make sure that you join him in any of these activities that he engages in. This will make him feel loved and cherished by his woman.

3. Valentine dish

Prepare a valentine dish –use your best cooking skills and prepare his favourite meal before and on D-day,  remember to decorate your home with Valentine’s themes to spark love mood and atmosphere around the house.

4. Dress to the occasion

Choose a dress your man likes seeing you in, and it should also merge with the occasion. Dressing lovely and decently on this day will make your man feel honoured and loved.

5. Love notes

Place some love notes and quotes in his diary, briefcase or study table at home. This will remind him of the very first moments of your love and relationship. It will bring him into the mood of the day.

6. Do something he had hinted at getting

Give him what he Subtly hinted at getting but did not get. It could be some jewellery like a watch or a belt of his choice among others. Just buy it and present it to him this very day and this will make him always remember your love.

By following these simple steps, women will own their men and remind them of how special they are, from their first meeting to dating, relationship and then marriage.
