NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenya Breweries Limited launched the Pink Polo tournament to honour October’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

The Nairobi social circuit event took place over the weekend, hosted by the Nairobi Polo Club – their inaugural tournament.
KBL partnered with the club through its premium beer, Tusker Malt, continuing its tradition over the past five years, bringing together polo fans and enthusiasts, fashionistas, influencers, and Kenyans standing in solidarity with the cause.
While addressing participants, Tusker Malt’s Brand Manager Naomi Kiema emphasised the brand’s commitment to continued elevation of Kenya’s lifestyle and social scene, ensuring that fans get an exceptional experience by the field.
“Polo has long been a celebrated canvas where sport, fashion, community and fine craftsmanship meet. As a longtime partner of the Nairobi Polo Club, we are excited to support this inaugural Pink Polo tournament which promises a blend of community, fashion and style, entertainment and meaningful conversation,” said Naomi, in a press statement seen by News9.africa.
The theme of the event was marked with pink outfits, complemented by other shades of courage that symbolised hope, solidarity and honour for those affected by the scourge.
The inaugural fixture featured a grand horse parade spectacle where the horses and their riders took the turf in a breathtaking procession of elegance.
The parade involved a showcase of different colours representing different types of cancers affecting Kenyans – both male and female.
KBL hosted a dedicated pitch-side VIP experience designed for groups looking to celebrate in style.
