Coronavirus is now becoming a threat in the whole world, and

A flight from China today landed at the Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport (JKIA) causing drama with flight attendance refusing to
clear passengers from Guangzhou, even as tension over Coronavirus rises.

According to daily nation, the first cases of the disease
outbreak in Africa have been reported in Algeria and Egypt.

This is way not far from Kenya, and as the government
applies all cautious measures to make sure that the disease does not break in
the country, you should also be cautious and vigilant in case of any outbreak.

 Understand what coronavirus is

novel virus named for the crown-like spikes that protrude from its surface. The

How far the disease

and the Middle East.

The virus, which originated in Wuhan, China, has affected more

Keeping self and
others safe

Experts have recommended washing of hands frequently since
the virus spreads through contaminated surfaces.

Also when you feel sick, consider staying at to avoid public
contact that may result to contamination.

Traveling

Avoid unnecessary travelling, especially to countries of
Japan, Italy and Iran, South Korea and China.

Here, the state comes in handy by cancelling all flight
operations to the affected countries.

Prepare for a
possible outbreak

Medical experts have advised that, to prepare for a possible
outbreak, one should keep a 30-day supply of essential medicines, get a flu
shot and have essential household items at hand.

Avoid crowded public areas and keep distance from anyone
appears to sneeze, cough and you have those symptoms, please stay at home.

The virus is transmitted through sneezes, coughs and
