avoid and ignore political propaganda being spread about the Jubilee party.

In a message seen by News 9 Kenya from the DP’s twitter
handle, the DP said that the party leadership led by President Uhuru Kenyatta
is still intact, focused and united.

Dr. Ruto was responding to a report on a local daily
published on Sunday, which claimed that he has rallied more MPs behind him, widen
rift in the ruling party.

MPs allied to the DP have been rallying calls to have the
BBI report pass through parliament before implementation, but on Friday over
the weekend they changed their mind saying that they are open to either
parliament or referendum course to implement the report.

Speaking to a local daily, Nyeri Town MP Wambugu Ngunjiri
the DP has gained immense influence among the Jubilee legislators.

“Ruto has been leading the political arm of Jubilee as
President Kenyatta is busy with the implementation of the government agenda.
Using that network, Ruto has managed to gain clout,” he said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta called on leaders, especially
Jubilee party members, to concentrate on issues development rather than
picketing about the BBI report.
