Miguna Miguna lash at President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga for stopping his flights to Kenya

Embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna has lashed at President Uhuru
Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga for having a hand in the RED ALERTS
stopping his journey back to Kenya.

On Tuesday, the lawyer was stopped from jetting back to the
country after the state issued a red alert to Lufthansa flight.

Miguna was then required to travel by Air France flight and
land at JKIA at 9:45 am Wednesday, but he was forced to alight moment after
boarding the flight, with the flight management citing alert order from the
government of Kenya.

And now the self-proclaimed National Resistant Movement
(NRM) leader took to social media on Wednesday, scolding the president and the
opposition leader.

“These are targeted RED ALERTS. Uhuru Kenyatta has issued
blanket RED ALERTS against all airlines and flights to Kenya. The RED ALERTS
are not “old” or “2018 alerts.” Despot Kenyatta compels all
airlines to send him lists of passengers before flights depart in order to stop
me,” said Miguna.

He added that, “Uhuru Kenyatta issued a RED ALERT against
Lufthansa at 6 p.m. on January 6, 2020 and threatened not to allow its flights
to land in Kenya if Lufthansa transports me to Kenya. He issued the RED ALERT
against Air France AFTER I had taken my seat and the plane was about to depart.”

“When anyone occupying public office in trust for the
citizens of a country use that office and the powers vested in it to abuse,
brutalize, torture and violate the rights and freedoms of any citizen or group
of citizens, it is the DUTY of each citizen to bring him to account,” said the
lawyer.

Miguna said that Uhuru Kenyatta has not FACILIATED “my
return and UNCONDITIONAL entry into Kenya as ORDERED by the High Court. He has
refused to issue me with or return my valid Kenyan Passport as ORDERED by the
Court. His agents have not paid the damages and fines as ORDERED.”

“Fellow Kenyans: Let us be honest and admit the obvious fact
that the person violating my rights and preventing me from entering Kenya in
defiance of numerous court orders is Uhuru Kenyatta – urged on by Raila Odinga.
Uhuru Kenyatta has not complied with any court order. None.”

He goes on to say that IATA rules do not allow airlines to
cancel flights of passengers based on “red alerts” by countries.
States have no power over passengers or foreign air carriers. States only
control ADMISSION into or EXITS out of their countries. Citizens have a right
to enter or exit at will.

This comes even as the lawyer files another application
seeking to compel the State to allow his return to Kenya, with Justice Weldon
Korir set to hear the matter on Friday.

“As a first step and to ensure compliance: The rogue State
should be ordered to purchase air tickets and issue a valid Kenyan passport for
me and then bear the cost of two of my lawyers and two officers from @HakiKNCHR
to travel to where I am and accompany me back to Kenya,” twitted Miguna.
