Sevilla triumphed over local rivals Real Betis in La Liga’s
return match on Thursday night, since the March 2020 postponement over
Covid-19.
The match was played behind-closed-doors at the Ramon
Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
Winger Lucas Ocampos opened the scoring from the penalty
spot at the first quarter into the second half, as former Manchester City
midfielder Fernando netted the second goal with a close-range header shortly
afterwards, putting Sevilla ahead with 2-0 win against the visitors.
On the other hand, Betis struggled to get into the game,
with Nabil Fekir and Sergio Canales trying and shooting over from long range.
