Thierry Henry: In football it’s all about coming back, learning from your mistakes

Montreal
Impact head coach has said that he did not regret when he was axed from his
managerial post at Monaco, but too it as a stepping stone.

The former
Arsenal star said it important to learn and come back from your falling point
in football success.

“You’re
going to fall – it’s about how you get up,” Henry said during his first
Montreal press conference.

“You
learn the most and find out more about yourself in tough situations. It’s about
coming back always – the story of my life. The only mistake you can make is not
learning from what happened.”

The French man
added that h feels so captivated for having yet another opportunity to coach again,
which he said it is his come back from January.

“You
need to come back and confront it. I’m more than happy to have this opportunity
with this club and city.”

According to
BBC Sports, he signed a two-year deal with the MLS side, which has an option
for 2022.

Henry takes
over from Wilmer Cabrera, whose contract ran out at the end of the season.
