Real Estate and Property firm Myspace has emerged among the
best 100 companies in the 2019 KMPG’s list.

This being the second time the company is participating in
the study, Myspace was ranked number 14 in the prestigious list, recording improvement
from number 41 in the 2018 ranking.

The Mombasa based firm trounced hundreds of companies that
had entered the competition, ranking top in the Real Estate company category.

The Top 100 survey is an initiative of KPMG and Nation Media
Group that seeks to identify Kenya’s fastest growing medium-sized companies in
order to showcase business excellence and highlight some of the country’s most
successful entrepreneurship stories.

Myspace Properties develops and manages Property as well as
property Agency and project management.

The company has grown tremendously in the last 5 years. It
was started in 2008 in Coastal capital before expanding to other regions.

In 2017, the company ranked runners up in the best business
leader of the year awards.

Myspace Properties (Kenya) Limited Chief Executive Officer
Mwenda Thuranira said, “outstanding growth can be attributed to a focus on
sustainable development and coming up with tailor made solutions. We are
focused on coming up with affordable solutions for future generations. We are
concerned with building premium brands
and creating innovative modern urban
spaces that rationally embrace local solutions based on international standards.”

He added that, “Credit in achieving this award goes to the
support and dedication of our suppliers, clients, staff and other stakeholders
that have contributed to the company to record this improvement in span of one
year. On behalf of the management, I want to say a big thank you to our
property agents who go out of their way as they interact with property owners
and buyers on a daily basis, successfully closing sales across all cycles of
the property,”

Mr. Morris Kinoti, the Company Property Consultant said, “We
are grateful to have received this midsized companies honor on the back of our
recent successes this year. This year has come up with various fortunes
especially after we were incubated at the Nairobi Securities exchange Ibuka
programme.”

Asked why they recorded such a big improvement within just
one year, Mr. Kinoti explained that the firm has a dynamic and collaborative
professional practice something that has made them recognized by KPGM.

He said that their team’s focus is on the successful
delivery of construction projects to the client’s requirements. This is based
on the client’s budget and timelines.

According to the statement sent to newsroom, the company
said that this recognition motivates them to come up with more solutions and
seek progressive partnerships that will enable them actively participate in
providing solutions for the Government’s big Four agenda especially in the
affordable housing pillar and open investment opportunities for everyone
including ‘Wanjiku” (the common man and
low income citizens).
