R Kelly back in jail for neglecting children

Controversial musician R.Kelly is back in jail after being accused of not supporting his children.

According to Buzzfeed news, Kelly owes his ex-wife Adriana Kelly more than $ 160,000 which he was supposed to pay by Wednesday 10 a.m.

He has three children with his ex-wife Andrea: Joan who is 21 years old, Jay is 19 years old and Robert who is 17 years old.

Kelly had just been released from jail on February 25 on bond for charges relating to sexual abuse.

The musician spent a couple of days in the prison, his lawyer saying he did not have the $100000 readily available to cater for the bond.

Kelly’s publicist Darell Johnson was agitated by the send back, saying that Kelly was released so that they can figure out the issue and not to be sent back to prison.

“He was released so that he can figure out his current situation and plan for a solution.

He was not released so that he is sent back to prison,’ he said.

There is no bail set for the musician but the court says he will remain in prison until he pays the money to the ex-wife.

His publicist claimed that Kelly tried to pay the money in bits, an idea that was rejected by the court.

He added that his client R. Kelly is feeling low but he promises to get him out by next week.

R. Kelly is currently being charged for sexually abusing four women.

Kelly has however denied all the allegations, saying that he is being publicly slayed.

The 52-year old is an American R &B singer, songwriter and record producer who has been widely known for his gospel-tinged vocals, highly sexualized records and cases of legal and moral issues.

In 2002, he was charged for 21 counts of criminal acts related to pornography.
