Nairobi, Kenya – Verto, a global financial technology company transforming cross-border payments, has been recognised as one of the 50 fastest-growing tech companies in the United Kingdom in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 UK 2025 list.

The company stated that this honour highlights its rapid growth and reinforces its commitment to Africa’s digital economy, particularly in Kenya, which Verto describes as a “cornerstone” of its African operations.
Verto’s platform is designed to help businesses send, receive, and exchange money globally.
In Kenya, the company enables local enterprises to connect with over 200 international markets, access multi-currency accounts, and carry out international transactions.
According to the company, its platform supports over $25 billion (KSh 3.23 trillion) in annual transactions, providing essential infrastructure for African SMEs and exporters seeking to compete in the global market.
“We are incredibly honoured to be named by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK.
“This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to solving the challenges of cross-border payments for businesses in emerging markets. Kenya, in particular, remains a cornerstone of our African operations, and we are dedicated to supporting Kenyan SMEs, exporters, and fintechs as they scale across borders,” said Ola Oyetayo, CEO and Co-Founder of Verto.
Oyetayo noted that Verto’s growth is driven by its mission to make international payments more seamless and affordable, stating that Africa’s economic potential depends on its ability to trade efficiently.
“By simplifying global payments, we are unlocking that potential, starting with countries like Kenya, where innovation and entrepreneurship are thriving,” he added.
As part of its investment in the continent, Verto is hosting its annual Verto Awards to recognise and support high-impact, early-stage startups in cross-border payments and digital commerce.
The 2025 awards will conclude with a gala event in Nairobi on 27 November 2025, celebrating top innovators from across the continent.
“Through the Verto Awards, we are equipping the next generation of African entrepreneurs with global visibility and tangible resources to scale,” Oyetayo said.
The Deloitte accolade strengthens Verto’s presence in Kenya, which serves as a key operational hub.
The company confirmed it is exploring new partnerships in Kenya and continues to work with local banks and corporations to simplify foreign exchange and international transfers.
