Kibra MP Ken Okoth dead

Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth has succumbed to
colorectal cancer at 41 while in ICU at Nairobi Hospital. 

According to Citizen TV, his family shared the saddening news
in a press conference on Friday at the hospital.

 It read, “He has been
on and off medication and was brought to the hospital yesterday (Thursday) morning.
He was unwell and was admitted at around 5pm but around 8pm, his health
deteriorated and he was taken to the ICU. He remained there until today
(Friday) at around 4pm when he passed on.”

His body has been transferred to Lee unreal home, as the
family requests for privacy as they make funeral arrangements.

Okoth has died at 41years old after battling stage 4
colorectal cancer, which affects the colon and rectum.

He sought treatment in France and later jetted in the country
making a public appearance at the annual Kibra Music Festival on July 6, with Kenyans
welcoming him back home through scial media.
