Opportunities are also available for Curriculum Support Officers and lecturers in Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs).
Some of the largest allocations include 3,547 Deputy Head Teacher II posts, 4,683 Senior Teacher II positions and 3,244 Senior Teacher I slots, reflecting the commission’s push to strengthen school leadership at the grassroots level.
TSC has urged all interested and eligible candidates to submit their applications online through the portal www.teachersonline.go.ke by midnight on Monday, 25 August 2025. Manual applications will not be accepted.
The commission has also reiterated its commitment to equal opportunity, encouraging persons living with disabilities to apply.
“This exercise is part of our continued effort to recognize and promote teachers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and commitment to their roles,” a TSC statement read.
The announcement comes at a time when Kenya’s education sector is undergoing significant changes to align with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), with TSC emphasizing that leadership positions will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth implementation.
