Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga has been the talk of town in recent years, over his precedent actions showing he is fit for topflight league like the English Premier League.

Olunga, 26, has been named in J1 League Team best player in the months of October, following his outstanding performance.

The Kashiwa Reysol player scored six goals, taking the lead as the best striker in the team of the month.

Olunga victory comes from consecutive braces in the league as Kashiwa defeated Yokohama FC 3-0 and Vissel Kobe 4-3.

He also scored against Shonan Bellmare and Gamba Osaka, moving above the score sheet with 23 goals this season.

The striker played a huge role in elevating Kashiwa from second-tier league to J1 League, scoring 42 goals of the total 51 matches played.

According to goal, Olunga’s ambitious fans believe the striker has what it takes to be successful in EPL.

They quote former FC Leopards midfielder Charles Okwemba, saying some players “below Olunga’s quality play in the Premier League and make an impact.”

“He is still young and at his peak, he should be competing with the best in the world. I believe in his ability and potential; it is time for him to risk it in top leagues and I am confident he will prevail,” says Okwemba.

The legendary midfielder adds, “Olunga is class and will help any team he plays for in the league. However, he should target small clubs because the pressure is less as compared to established teams.”

The striker has been making stunning performance in his career, as reports of his move to the English Premier League grow eminent.

Olunga might be a payer to look at when the second transfer window of the season opens.
