Nairobi, Kenya – Nairobi’s vibrant dining scene has gained a new addition with the launch of Glam Hotel’s rooftop restaurant and bar in Westlands, offering guests an elevated mix of fine dining, cocktails, and panoramic city views.

The 10th-floor venue, located on General Mathenge Road, officially opened on Friday night with a lively celebration attended by business leaders, influencers, and hospitality enthusiasts.
The launch featured live music, DJ performances, and energetic drumming and dance acts, setting the tone for what the hotel describes as “an experience rather than just a venue.”
“This rooftop is more than a venue – it is an experience. We wanted a space that reflects Nairobi’s character – vibrant, diverse, and full of life,” said Ashish Sharma, CEO of Thrive Hospitality, the group behind Glam Hotel.
Guests enjoyed a menu of continental dishes and signature cocktails as they took in sweeping views of Nairobi’s skyline.
The rooftop, which can accommodate up to 200 guests, is set to serve as a destination for sundowners, private events, and casual dining.
Sanjay Shah, one of the hotel’s directors, said the goal was to create a social hub that captures the city’s dynamic energy. “We wanted a space that blends good food with Nairobi’s social spirit, where every evening feels like a celebration,” he said.
The night ended with a toast overlooking the city lights, marking what Glam Hotel hopes will become one of Westlands’ most sought-after destinations.
A boutique establishment known for its personalised service and modern design, Glam Hotel continues to expand its appeal with the new rooftop, combining contemporary cuisine, creative cocktails, and breathtaking views in the heart of Nairobi’s upscale Westlands district.
