A city lawyer is in jail for shooting his son.
Assa Nyakundi
was driving with his son heading for their house in Muthaiga when they stopped
to place the pistol in another spot.
Nyakundi told the police he was changing the pistol from a
pouch to a holster in the car when the gun discharged a bullet that shot his
son, Joseph, 29, in the chest who was sitting in the rear seat
The lawyer took his son to Aga Khan Hospital where he passed
away on arrival.
He then reported the issue at Muthaiga police station.
He is currently
in custody as the police conduct investigations.
