As the authorities continue to investigate the death of the
Dutch Billionaire Tob Cohen, a former husband of a sitting member of parliament
has been linked to the case.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has unraveled
that someone contacted the MP’S ex and in the end, assassins were used to
murder Cohen. It has emerged that a down payment of Ksh 40,000 was sent to four
killers through Mpesa and they are yet to be caught.

As this happens, Cohen’s body was on Friday September 13,
2019 found in a septic tank within his compound in Kitisuru, Nairobi. His sister
Gabrie Van Struaten and husband Roy Stratten were at the scene.

Cohen went missing on July 19, and his remains were found
43 days later. His wife Sarah Wairimu was arrested and is being detained in
Lang’ata Women’s Prison, but the court denied her bond. On September 12, the
court ordered a mental evaluation to ascertain her fitness to stand trial.

Wairimu’s lawyer has questioned how the DCI knew it was Cohen’s
body before retrieving it. The investigative institution, on other hand, used
high tech tools to help in the search of the corpse, which was found with a
rope around the neck.

DCI head George Kinoti in earlier reports stated that the
murder of the Dutch man was gruesome and that the killers took their time with
the deceased.

Cohen was the Managing Director of Tobs Limited Golf Tour Company
that organizes golf tournaments. Before that, he served as the CEO of Phillips
Electronics Eats Africa.
