NAIROBI, Kenya—Democratic politics depends on challenges. Too much stability can breed complacency, stagnation, and corruption. The arrival of new parties is one way to shake up the old ones or better reflect new demographics, interest groups, and values.
It is against this backdrop that outspoken Saboti MP Caleb Amisi is set to unveil his new political party, the People’s Renaissance Movement (PM Party), tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the ASK Dome in Nairobi.
“This is a generational duty. Just like past generations, we must win our war; economic liberation! Tupatane kesho hapo Jamhuri ASK Dome,” said Amisi ahead of the party launch.
On Sunday, August 9, 2026, the outspoken lawmaker led members and officials of the new political outfit for a prayer and blessings service at the Calvary Covenant Center, Komarock, ahead of the upcoming National Delegates Convention (NDC).
“We commit the journey ahead to God, seeking His guidance, wisdom, and blessings as we prepare for this important milestone. Mungu akibariki, hakuna kitu itashindikana. Kenya needs a renaissance,” said the lawmaker.
PM Party in a meeting with Martha Karua
Earlier, Amisi, alongside the leadership of the People’s Renaissance Movement, paid a visit to the Martha Karua-led People Liberation Party (PLP) headquarters.
“We had productive discussions on the importance of strengthening multiparty democracy and building a broader movement for accountable leadership. I look forward to joining the PRM family at their National Delegates Conference on 11th August,” said Karua following the visit.

With the clock fast ticking towards the PM Party launch, MP Amisi maintains that the political outfit will produce a presidential candidate in 2027.
PM Party unveils its women’s league
Already, the party has officially inaugurated its Women League, a move it termed as ushering in a new chapter of women’s leadership, inclusion, and empowerment within the party and across the country.
Additionally, the party has unveiled a list of its key priorities, which it says will shape the future of Kenya.
In the list, news9.africa has gathered that the party has prioritised pro-business, jobs, and the digital economy.
“The establishment of a new factory per county, a constituency digital creator hub, and affordable housing,” the party said in a statement.
The PM has also declared its war on corruption, vowing zero tolerance, transparency, accountability, and integrity in all of its activities.
PM Party erects billboards across the country
On tribalism, the party is spearheading what it terms “one people, one nation, unity in diversity,” or “we rise together.”
Additionally, on constitutionalism and the rule of law, the PM seeks to oversee the upholding of the constitution, the protection of rights, and justice for all.
Lastly, on social justice, public debt, and fiscal policy, the party has promised to push for fairness, sustainability, responsible debt, and prosperity for generations.
Also, MP Amisi has gone out of his way and erected tens of billboards across the country as he prepares to launch the party officially.
“We have 40 billboards all over the country. 11th August is the day. Genz wako chama,” MP Amisi told news9.africa.
Meanwhile, special guest artists to headline the forthcoming NDC include Parroty Vunulu, Mr Seed, DK Kwenye Beat, and DJ Nicksling.
