Harambee Stars has been kicked out of Africa Cup of Nations
after Cameroon-Benin 0-0 draw at Ismailia Stadium, Egypt.

Being in the third place ranking, the Kenyan team hoped to
qualify for the 16th round of the tournament, but were pushed out of
the contest after DRC, South Africa, Guinea and Benin had a better goal difference.

Stars could have gotten into the knockout stages if Cameroon
defeated Benin and Angola lose to Mali.

On July 1, they lost 0-3 to Senegal making it tricky for
them to pull through to round 16. They held it together in the first half against Lions
of Teranga, but the second half did not favor them leading to the loss.
