Elon Musk is the owner of SpaceX and other tech companies.

Who are the world’s richest people with wealth in Technology

Elon Musk

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk is the world’s richest man with a net worth of $352 billion (KSh 45.5 trillion).

The 54-year-old’s wealth is accumulated in technology, with investments in electric car manufacturing, space exploration, internet services, social media artificial intelligence.

The American billionaire owns SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla Inc., X platform and xAI.

Larry Ellison

Larry Ellison is the second richest person in the world, with a net woth of $295 billion (KSh 38.1 trillion).

The 80-year-old American billionaire is the founder of Oracle, the maker of database software.

According to Bloomberg Billionare Index, Ellisson’s company made $53 billion (KSh 6.85 trillion) revenue in the financial year ending May 2024.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth stood at $263 billion (KSh 33.98 billio) as of August 2, 2025.

Mark Zuckerberg is the founder of Facebook.

The 41-year-old American billionaire built his weath from Facebook, which is now the world’s largest social media network with more than 3 million daily users.

Zuckerberg founded Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. In 2024, the company reported $164.5 billion (KSh 21.3 trillion) revenue.

Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos is the founder of Amazon, the biggest online retailer in the world with a revenue of $638 billion (KSh 82.4 trillion) as of 2024.

The 61-year-old American entrepreneur boasts a net worth of $237 billion (KSh 30.6 trillion).

Bezos company controls the Whole Foods groceries, offers cloud computing and streaming services.

Steve Ballmer

Steve Ballmer has a net worth of $180 billion (KSh 23.3 trillion).

He is the former CEO of Microsoft, which deals in windows opwrating system, Xbox game console and surface tablet computers.

The 69-year-old American businessman resigned from his CEO role at Microsoft in 2014. He also owns LA Clippers basketball team.

Larry Page

Larry Page founded Alphabet, the mother company for Google, the world’s largest search engine.

Google, which owns Gmail, Android and YouTube reported $350 billion (KSh 45.2 trillion) revenue in 2024.

The 52-year-old has a net worth of $170 billion (KSh 21.96 trillion).

Sergey Brin

Sergey Brin is the co-founder of Alphabet, owning Google and its subsidiaries.

The 51-year-old boasts a net worth of $159 billion (KSh 20.54 trillion).

Jensen Huang

Jensen Huang’s net worth stood at $151 billion as of August 2, 2025, becoming position 9 among the world’s richest people.

The 62-year-old is the founder of Nvidia, a company that deals in computer processors and AI technologies.

Michael Dell

Michael Dell is the founder of Dell Technologies, the manufacturer of Dell Computer Products.

The 60-year-old American techpreneur has a net worth of $134 billion (KSh 17.3 trillion).

Bill Gates

Bill Gates ranks number 12 among world’s richest people, according to Bloomberg Billionairs Index, with a net worth of $122 billion (KSh 15.76 trillion).

He is the co-founder of Microsoft, which reported a revenue of $245 billion (KSh 31.7 trillion) in 2024.
