Arsenal FC have qualified for the 2026 UEFA Champions League final after 20 years.

The Gunners’ manager, Mikel Arteta, described the 1-0 victory against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, May 5, as a testament to the supporters’ energy and passion.
Arteta said the night was one of his best in his career, applauding fans for their support before and during the match.
“It’s one of the best nights that I’ve had in my career. I think today the supporters raised the bar and told us how we had to play this game.
“The way they received the team outside the stadium was unique – I’ve never seen it before. And the energy that was created today in this stadium was something else; something different, something that elevates everybody’s conviction, energy, passion, and I’m so proud,” said Arteta.
